Look back in Hunger

The need to write is probably much the same as the craving for opium: however much you get you always want more. It’s the same with photography. However many snaps I take I hunger for more. My lens sniffed out this lot in 2019.

What a year- serene, colorful, and appetizing. A fabulous 2020 to you, Bryan.

Thanks, Julie. I empathise with your predicament concerning writing as I have been experiencing a reluctance to write over the last few years. Wishing you a great 2020 too. Your writing is incredibly evocative, your prose rolling around my mind like poetry at times. It’s beautifully unplifting at the same moment as creating a sense of longing that verges on sadness, if that doesn’t sound too contradictory.

An interesting calendar of event in Conil – the losing lottery ticket looks almost appetising. With a preference for minimalism I do admire May’s blue shutter (no reference to Theresa there). Happy 2020
