Love the sentiment. Beautifully executed. I’m enjoying the ride. But a grieve for the many who have no joy. . .

Though understandable, given the times we live in, it is sad that so many cannot bring themselves to enjoy the good things that are around us.
With the research I often have to do for my writing I sometimes find myself reading about the most terrible things. They happen to many people, throughout the world, on a daily basis, and I feel the necessity to try to bring them to more people’s attention from time to time.
Nevertheless, I fully understand the importance of being able to switch off. Without that ability life would become unbearable.
In the West, by comparison to much of the planet, most of us are very fortunate indeed. We should make ourselves more aware of our good fortune whenever we can.
Best wishes to you Linda.

Thanks Bryan. You know, I think it is my very awareness of the misery that walks so heavily in other people’s lives that makes me so appreciative and content with the ease of my own life. I must have a weird brain because I prefer reading heavy dramas and watching gut-wrenchingly sad films. Rather than depressing me, these make me acutely aware of how easy I have it.
